The Sunday Muster

The Sunday Muster is a roundup of creative people; artists, crafts persons, and designers, in a boutique artisan market held on the grounds at Mortels Sheepskin Factory in Thornton. Commencing in 2019, The Sunday Muster will be held seasonally rather than monthly.

Mortels have a tradition of handcrafted Australian made products and have opened their Thornton premise and grounds for likeminded people, emerging small business, to showcase their skills and wares and to join Mortels in creating a varied and enjoyable experience drawing visitors from far and wide.

With the ease of substantial off street parking, Mortels Thornton is highly accessible. Located at just off the New England Highway, Pacific Highway and M1, The Sunday Muster artisan markets is the ideal day out with all that is on offer, including a good variety of high quality locally made products and live music. The Sunday Muster culture is upbeat and fun, with variety and surprise.

Stall Enquiries

Stall numbers are limited at the Sunday Muster. We are selective with stallholders, in order to uphold the high standards visitors have come to expect. If you wish to join The Sunday Muster as a stallholder, please click the button below and fill out the online form. You will be asked to agree to both the Sunday Muster Market Regulations and Stallholder Information before submitting.

Please note. We were not able to hold any markets in 2020 due to COVID limitations and the substantial increase in demand for the sheepskin factory products which brought in a significant increase in visitor numbers to our site. For the same reason of limitations on the number of people and social distancing we are not able to hold any markets until at least Spring 2021 whilst the visitor numbers for the sheepskin store and cafe remains so high. We are hoping to return later in the year with the same quality stalls and supporting locally made. Please keep an eye out on our social medias for the announcement of our return.
